Look a little closer
01 / Idea

There's a strategy
in that idea.

A pattern you keep noticing. A rule you want to test. Start with when to enter, when to exit, and how much to risk.

Buy when RSI(14) falls below 30.
Exit above 70. Risk 1% with a 2% stop.

Your words become explicit conditions for you to review.

Inspect the rules
02 / Rules

A rule you
can inspect.

Review every entry, exit and risk setting before you run the strategy.

03 / Evidence

The curve is only
the beginning.

Explore the trades, the drawdowns, and the assumptions that shaped the backtest.

Look at the difficult periods

A result includes the path it took. Explore the falls as well as the recoveries.

A strategy deserves more than one good period.

Room for the next question

Change an assumption.
Keep the original.

Each rerun keeps its own settings and context, so the original remains yours to inspect.

A few things worth knowing

Good questions.
Clear answers.

Move through the details the same way you would a strategy: one signal at a time.

What is Difa?

Difa is a trading-strategy research platform. Describe an idea in plain English, inspect the rules, and explore how that strategy behaves on historical market data.

Do I need to know how to code?

No. Start with the conditions you have in mind: when to enter, when to exit, and how much to risk. Difa translates supported ideas into explicit rules for you to review before interpreting a backtest.

Can Difa place trades for me today?

No. Paper and live trading are coming soon and are not enabled in the current preview. The focus today is strategy creation and historical research. Joining the waitlist does not connect a broker or enable trading.

Does a good backtest predict future returns?

No. A backtest is a hypothetical simulation with data and execution assumptions. It can help you inspect an idea, but it cannot establish that a strategy will be profitable in a live market.
